Tejo Mahal
TAJ MAHAL - THE TRUE STORY

The serene beauty, majesty and grandeur of the Taj Mahal have made it known all over the world. But what is not so well known is the true story of its origin, that its magnificence stems from its having originated as a temple palace. It’s a pity that the Taj Mahal is believed to have originated as somber tomb in the 17th century when it was perhaps built in the 4th century. To serve as a palace with a temple in it. It stands at Agra in Northern India the moghul emperor Shah Jahan is supposed to have ordered it built in the memory of his wife Arjumand Banu Begum alias Mumtaz ul Zamani who is speculated to have died somewhere around 1630 in Burhanpur which is about six hundred miles south of Agra.

One is struck by its beauty grandeur, security enormity and mystery. Mystery? Yes mystery, Now what is mysterious about it isn’t it the most written about monument. Isn’t it the 7th wonder of the world? The mosoleum the moghul king Shah Jahan built for his wife Mumtaz? Yes that is the biggest wonder - giving the authorship of the Taj to some one who doesn’t claim it in the first place.

It is often asked that when almost all the historians of the world and standard history books for all these centuries have empathetically claimed Shah Jahan to be the creator of the Taj - How have you so blatantly denied it and come up with the theory that:

The Taj Mahal did not originate as a mosoleum but as a Temple palace. To the first part of the question if can be said that the theory is not established according to what the majority feels, thinks or says is right. “Democracy is not the deciding factor as the truth is not established by votes. It does not matter whether one fool believes in a certain thing or one thousand fools believe in it. It does not make any qualitative difference”. Also the fact that a certain theory is accepted for centuries does not make it authentic.

It has been rightly said that one can fool some people for all time or all people for some time but one cannot fool all people all the time. At some point of time truth does get revealed. It cannot be kept under wraps or pushed a side any more.

The second part of the question will be answered when one realizes that most of the books and accounts of the Taj Mahal written during the last 300 years are based on mere hearsay.

"I was surprised to learn after meticulous enquiries that all the accounts of the Taj content themselves with merely confused irreconcilable, slipshod, imaginary details about its origin viz the period of construction, the expenses incurred the source money spent, the designers, the workmen, the date of Mumtaz’s burial in it and many other facts. I was not content with those loose bits of inconsistencies, and mollies and contradictory versions at every point. My research arose from my dissatisfaction regarding the confused conglomerate of details concerning the certain of the Taj Mahal. To my amazement it led me to an un expected conclusion that the Taj Mahal the very crown among residence, as it is somnolently interpreted is an ancient Shiv Temple palace complex".

The monument of death was infact originally the abode of Lord Shiva - 'one who has vanquished death'.

I invite all sincere seekers of the truth to know the true story of the Taj Mahal and hope that they would lay aside their prejudices and the hangover of their conditioned minds and come with open eyes and a clear vision and with that clarity perceive for themselves the reality in its total nakedness and total authenticity.

Infact when you view the Taj with an unconditioned mind, keep aside the tainted and tinted view of the past prejudice you will find every brick and every stone wanting to tell the true story wanting to be unveiled from the false hood surrounding it and false hood shrouding it.

The purpose of this enquiry is purely academic. No communal offence is meant or indented. Truth is neither Hindu nor Muslim. Amity based on false hood is illusory and unstable.
